Great book; a true wake up call!
Fascinating, comforting, and inspiring, this is an easy read.
This book is so inspirational...it deserves to be read many many times as Fr. Pisegna is so good at writing truth in a way that average folks can understand.
Must reading for anyone fearing or facing the certainty of death. A view from one who has "crossed over" and returned, relating upon the meaning, responsibilities, goals, and the peace of the ultimate surrender of life.
It was a good book. As with most stories about going to heaven, the author talks about just about everything else except the actual experience.
I am more than delighted I purchased a copy of this thought provoking book, easily and quickly bought through . I am definitely going to buy another soon (from ) for a close buddy of mine.
I recently encountered this charismatic Passionist priest Father Cedric upon my TV screen. This prolific author, I discovered, scribes "Death, the Final Surrender" as it gently fits us ...not as the scary end but as a new beginning for the Christian. In my opinion, as an academic, I feel this easy to be read, explores the Catholic view of the after life, yet he honestly highlights his own personal awesome testimony - no holes barred. Buy the book; read it more than once.
This book was like new, better than some new books, and yes, it is signed by Father Cedric, I am so glad. I am very happy with my purchase of this book and will keep it on my self when I am done reading it. He describes a very clear picture of what happens in the afterlife, after he had his own experience, that you will read here in the book. He also has told some other very interesting things that I did not know. Over all, I wish I was not almost done with this book, it is too good to put down.
